Psychotherapy in Denmark

in English

Moving overseas can be an exciting time of new opportunities, but can also present unique challenges. A change in location and routine can feel unsettling, and not speaking the language can, at times, feel lonely and isolating.

Therapy can help.

Having a space to explore these difficult emotions in English with a native speaker can help to bridge a cultural gap.

Psychotherapy is not a regulated profession in Denmark, and so it is hugely important that psychotherapists have membership with an ethical body which has robust entry requirements for education and experience.

I am a full member of the Dansk psykoterapeutforening, which enables me to use the title Psykoterapeut MPF, and offers an ethical framework which I adhere to. More details can be found here.

I currently work online via Zoom, but in the coming months I will have availability face to face in Odense C.

Sessions are 50 minutes long and cost 750 kroner. I have a limited number of reduced rate appointments available for refugees and those on no/low income. Please mention if you require one of these appointments in your initial enquiry.
